Dream scenario goes out the window for Wake’s 2017 class

Danny Manning’s dream of landing two prospects ranked in the top 40 in the same recruiting class appears to have ended, at least for the class of 2017.

Manning started October by getting a commitment from shooting guard Chaundee Brown (No. 34 in 247Sports’ composite rankings). He hoped that shooting guard Brandon Randolph (No. 38) would follow, but the 2017 standout pledged to Arizona on Wednesday.
