5-star center picks NC State; what does it mean for Abu?

NC State head basketball coach Mark Gottfried needed something big to offset a tough two-month stretch, and he got it both literally and figuratively when 7-foot center Omer Yurtseven from Istanbul, Turkey, signed with NC State on Monday morning.

Yurtseven had also officially visited Syracuse and Utah. DraftExpress.com has him rated No. 14 in its 2017 NBA mock draft. He may have some clearinghouse hurdles to overcome to play for the Pack, but if he does get cleared, he provides an immediate impact player in the post.
