Last month, the ACC made the obvious choice to move this year’s ACC Football Kickoff to a virtual even, July 21-23.
That, however, won’t hold, either. Announced earlier today, the league has postponed the virtual media event until additional notice.

This update happens, of course, as the league is currently in the process of evaluating potential alternatives to its 2020 schedule, which has come with some mixed messaging.
The event involves a de fact “state of the league” speech from ACC commissioner John Swofford, who will preside over his final ACC Football Kickoff in 2020. Coach and player representatives from all 14 ACC football teams normally take part in the festivities, too.
