Javonte Vereen will stay within the state of North Carolina for his college football career. On Friday, the 4-star tight end from Havelock (NC) High committed to NC State over Louisville and Maryland.
According to 247 Sports, Vereen ranks as the No. 335 prospect in the 2023 class; he’s a borderline top-10 prospect in North Carolina.
