Clawson says Wake Forest has NFL talent 'all over the roster'

With a home game against Florida State just three days away, Wake Forest football coach Dave Clawson joined The David Glenn Show on Wednesday to discuss the upcoming matchup with the Seminoles, how the Demon Deacons prepare for ugly weather and his quarterback philosophy.

“This is one of the reasons you come to Wake Forest,” Clawson said of big games. “It’s a beautiful school with great academics, but it’s the only school in the country like us that gets to play this level of football. This is a major selling point on coming to Wake.”

The second-year Deacon coach stated that, although Florida State is known for pumping out NFL talent, he sees a lot of future pros on his own roster.

“There’s no doubt in my mind that we’ve got a bunch of guys here right now who will at some point be playing on Sundays, and this will be their profession for a handful of years,” Clawson said.

Kickoff for the Wake-Florida State contest is set for 3:30 p.m. ET. Click below to hear the full interview:
