Pittsburgh's top five senior targets

With few seniors graduating after the 2015 season, Pittsburgh can afford to take another small recruiting class in the 2016 cycle. So far, the Panthers have locked up 10 commitments, and with National Signing Day only four months away, it’s unlikely the coaching staff will even try to hit the limit of 25.

While Pitt may not be adding many more commitments for this upcoming signing class, there are some players still on the board who the Panthers would love to add. Here are the team’s top five remaining senior targets.

5. DE Zack Gilbert, 3-star

Early in Gilbert’s recruitment, it seemed inevitable that Pittsburgh would be a major player. As the son of Panther legend Sean Gilbert, who was the third overall pick in the 1992 NFL Draft coming out of Pitt, Zack has had his dad’s former school high on his list for about a year.
