FSU begins offseason renovations, construction of Champions Club

As Thanksgiving approached in Tallahassee this November, Doak Campbell Stadium rapidly made an adjustment from game host to job site.

Within 48 hours following the Seminoles’ 52-13 triumph over Chattanooga in the regular season finale on Nov. 21, the venerable stadium became the scene of heavy construction, as Florida State University begins the final phase of a massive renovation project.

Over the past couple years, FSU boosters have been raising tens of millions of dollars in an effort to improve the athletic department’s facilities across the board. One of the last, and biggest, pieces of the puzzle is the new renovations taking place inside Doak Campbell Stadium.
