The 2015 coaches’ awards and All-ACC teams were announced Wednesday. Like in the media voting, Dabo Swinney was named ACC Coach of the Year, Deshaun Watson was voted Player of the Year, and Jeremy Cash tabbed as Defensive Player of the Year.
While the media voted Pitt safety Jordan Whitehead as the overall ACC Rookie of the Year, Whitehead and teammate Qadree Ollison received co-Rookie of the Year honors from the coaches. Other than that subtle difference, coaches’ voting for awards played out similarly to that of the media.
The same can’t be said for All-ACC voting.
What were the differences between coaches and media voting for the three All-ACC teams?
