Following the 2014 season, Clemson lost eight defensive starters from the nation’s No. 1 defense. Four of those players heard their names called in May’s NFL draft. Another Tiger defensive player from last season ended up making an NFL roster.
It’s not difficult to understand why one of the greatest areas of uncertainty for Clemson heading into the 2015 season was the defense.
