Earlier this week, the NCAA extended the recruiting dead period through July 31, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This development came about two weeks after the board of directors for the NABC and the WBCA executive committee recommended an extension of the current recruiting dead period through the end of July. (The dead period was initially pushed back to May 31.) Evaluation periods in April and June were also cancelled.
