Throughout its six-decade history, the ACC’s annual men’s basketball tournament has been a highly-anticipated and hotly-contested weekend of hoops action. It’s also been consistently located in three towns within the state of North Carolina. Only 11 out of 62 ACC Tournaments throughout the league’s history so far have been played outside of Greensboro, Raleigh, and Charlotte. But that’s about to change in the coming years.
