Can the ACC make a bigger deal out of the start of college basketball season?

One of many topics of discussion at the ACC’s Operation Basketball in Charlotte was the question of whether more can be done to celebrate the official start of college basketball season. Commissioner John Swofford suggested that he’d like to see more done to give college basketball an official season kickoff, similar to the celebrated start of NFL season or other sports.

ACCSports.com spoke with several ACC coaches to get their thoughts about what, if anything, can be done to improve the start of college basketball season.
