Brick's best big men of the 2016 high school class

As basketball season rapidly approaches, let’s update our pre-season national rankings of the best high school seniors (class of 2016), position by position. In this article we list, in rank order, the premier big men, including both the top 20 centers and the top 20 big forwards. Individuals are placed at the position we expect them to primarily play while in college. Thus deluxe prospects Harry Giles and Thon Maker, among others, are in our list of centers rather than at big forward, their likely future NBA slot.

A later contribution will enumerate the best 20 wing forwards, 20 wing guards and 20 point guards. Note that approximately half of the players in our lists have not yet made a college decision, although we expect that at least 85 of the best 100 high school seniors will wind up signing a binding national letter of intent by the conclusion of the eight-day November signing period.
