Some of America’s top prep hoop stars — including numerous ACC recruiting targets in the classes of 2016 and 2017 — will take center stage in the prestigious Elite 24 game, sponsored by Under Armour. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 pm tipoff from Pier 2 of the Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn, New York the evening of Saturday, August 22.
The Elite 24 contest, which is something of a summer version of the McDonald’s All-American Game, will be nationally televised on ESPN. Along with the game itself, there will be a 3-point contest and dunk contest, also held at Pier 2 the evening of August 21.
Of the 24 prospects selected for the game, 18 have 5-star rankings from the Rivals network, according to national recruiting analyst Eric Bossi. Listed below are the teams and participants for this year’s Elite 24 showdown, along with some of the ACC schools currently recruiting them:
