The class of 2017 offers a fairly good, although unexceptional, crop of power forwards, especially if we consider (as we do) both Seattle’s Michael Porter and Floridian Kevin Knox to be small forwards.
As we’ve noted previously, the extremely versatile Porter — a Washington signee — is our choice as the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2017 class. He was consistently sensational last summer, while Knox buoyed his class ranking via a tremendous series of performances during the current 2016-17 high school season.
