May 17 was the final day of the college basketball spring national signing period, which began April 12.

There are many more signings and commitments in the fall than in the spring, and this year was no exception. Within the ACC, Duke once again landed the league’s premier recruiting crop, which has begun to be a matter of course.

This article focuses on the recruiting results for eight ACC members; we’ll cover the other seven schools in our next contribution.
