ACC makes its mark on the 2018 basketball recruiting class

Although the spring national signing period in basketball runs this year from April 11 through May 16 and thus continues for another two weeks, below we’re going to go ahead and rank the colleges with (at present time) the top dozen recruiting crops from the high school senior class (2018).  Though the recruitment of the seniors is still going on, over 90 of the best 100 prospects in the class of 2018 have already made and announced their college decisions. Hence, the vast majority of the most important recruiting results are already widely, well known.

Besides the latest team recruiting rankings, we also will provide our final individual rankings (numbers one through thirty-five) of the cream of the class of 2018. We’ve restricted this list to 35 because we believe they are the most likely to lead their college to an NCAA championship. Note that ACC schools (at this writing) presently have signed seven of the top 35 seniors, with Duke leading the nation by securing an unprecedented three of the top five and four of the top eight prospects.
