Block/charge is one of the most controversial calls in basketball. Here’s a look at how often each ACC team got whistled for offensive fouls during the conference season.

There’s obviously a large spread between the first and last-place teams in offensive fouls. But it’s possible that might be due to the style of offense. If Virginia isn’t driving and slashing to the hoop as much, they wouldn’t be at risk of offensive foul as much as other teams.
UVa is fifth in the league in “and one” fouls drawn, however, getting eight more of those calls than Maryland and 13 more than Virginia Tech (who were the top two in charges).
Here are the ACC leaders in committing offensive fouls:
Charles Mitchell, Maryland 9
Tyler Ennis, Syracuse 8
Devin Thomas, Wake 7
Dez Wells, Maryland 7
Kammeon Holsey, GT 7
Olivier Hanlan, BC 7
TJ Warren, NC State 7
