Ten former ACC players will participate in the NBA Draft Combine, which starts on Wednesday in Chicago. The combine is where 60 of the NBA’s top draft prospects report to participate in a series of drills, measurements and interviews.
The following players will attend the combine:
Tyler Ennis, Syracuse
C.J. Fair, Syracuse
Jerami Grant, Syracuse
P.J. Hairston, North Carolina
Joe Harris, Virginia
Rodney Hood, Duke
James Michael McAdoo, North Carolina
K.J. McDaniels, Clemson
Lamar Patterson, Pittsburgh
T.J. Warren, N.C. State
Duke forward Jabari Parker announced this weekend that he will not participate in the combine because his agent determined it would do more harm than good to his sky-high draft stock.
Of the 10 ACC players who will be at the combine, all but Joe Harris are expected to be selected in the draft. Harris, McAdoo and Patterson — more than anyone else — need to have strong performances to boost their draft stocks.
