Scoring List: 12 Games=Much Movement

There were 12 games involving ACC teams over the weekend, which meant plenty of movement on the ACC scoring list. 

Boston College played twice, winning both. 

Dennis Clifford moved up 43 spots to 1009, tying CJ Barksdale and passing Eddie Fogler, Tyler Thornton and Corey Maggette. 

Aaron Brown moved up 126 spots to 1577 passing Travis Wear and Miles Overton as he cruises through Transfer Alley. He also moved up 6 spots on the BC ACC scoring list, to 30, passing teammates Alex Dragicevich, Will Magarity and KC Caudill.

Garland Owens moved up 12 spots to 1568 passing Teviin Binns and Jahlil Okafor (briefly). 

Dimitri Batten moved up 170 spots to 1809, passing Reggie Love, LaRon Cephas, Randy Wiel and newly transferred Semi Ojeleye. He also passed Danny Rubin into 39th place on the BC list. 

Patrick Heckmann moved up 18 spots to 689, passing Steve Wojciechowski, Spud Webb, Billy McCaffery, Tahj Holden and Jerry Braswell. 

Olivier Hanlan moved up 10 spots to 211, passing Larry Nance, Rusty Clark, DeMarcus Nelson, Devin Gray and Norman Nolan. 

JC Carney moved up 72 spots to 2406, tying Ron Burt. He also moved up 1 spot on the BC list, tying Evan Neisler for 45th. 

Will Magarity moved up 30 spots to 1646, tying Matt Jones (briefly) and 1 spot on the BC list to 32nd, passing Evan Ravenel. 

NC State went 1-1. 

Lennard Freeman moved up 14 spots to 1468, tying Teed Wafle. He also passed Quentin Jackson into 177th place on the NC State career list. 

BeeJay Anya moved up 34 spots to 1634, tying Lefty Driesell. He also moved up 3 spots on the NC State list, to 188, passing Marshall Williams, Keith Bean and Alvin Battle. 

Cat Barber moved up 47 to 1030, passing Taymon Domzalski. He also jumped 5 spots on the NC State list to 122, passing five guys who all played before 1966, including Anton Muehlbauer. 

Ralston Turner moved up 39 to 906, passing Saints tight end Jimmy Graham and the Heat’s Chris Bosh. He also jumped 10 spots on the NC State list, cracking the top 100 at 99, passing Tony Bethel and Midjen Bakalli. 

Trevor Lacey moved up 45 to 1840, passing Trevor Thompson, Clay Buckley and Chase Metheney. He moved up 3 spots on the NC State list to 181, passing Dan Wherry and Teviin Binns. 

Caleb Martin moved up 107 spots to 1841, passing Alex Murphy. He jumped 12 spots on the State list, to 211, passing Victor Newman and Chuck Kornegay. 

Cody Martin moved up 86 to 2305, 8 spots on the State list to 264. 

Kyle Washington moved up 15 to 1335, breaking a tie with Alex Stephenson. He moved up 2 on the State list to 160, passing Mark Moeller and Lou Dickman. 

Dez Lee moved up 16 to 1166 passing Casey Sanders and Assane Sene. He passed Farnold Degand, Ricky Daniels and Craig Davis into 136th on the NC State list.

Abdul-Malik Abu moved up 114 to 2070 passing Michael Gbinije (the Duke Years). He passed Les Robinson and 12 others into 238th on the State list. 

Patrick Wallace moved up 35 to 2254. He passed Kenny Poston into 260th on the State list. 

Chase Cannon moved 74 to 2509 and up 7 to 286 on the State list, tying Jevoni Robinson. 

In UNC’s loss: 

Marcus Paige moved up 9 to 416, passing Daniel Miller and Jeff Teague. He also passed Tommy LaGarde into 63rd on the UNC list. 

Brice Johnson moved up 29 to 737, passing Miles Plumlee, Lance Thomas and Yuri Barnes. He also passed John Kuenster into 96th on the UNC list. 

JP Tokoto moved up 9 to 929 passing Levi Watkins and Marion Cash. 

Kennedy Meeks moved up 13 to 1107 passing Adam Harrington. He also passed Donn Johnston and Yogi Poteet into 134th on the UNC list. 

Nate Britt moved up 8 to 1395, tying Jordan Vandenberg. He also passed Quentin Thomas into 154th on the UNC list. 

Joel James moved up 6 to 1572. He jumped Bud Maddie into 175th at UNC. 

Jackson Simmons jumped 14 to 1647. He passed Travis Wear and tied Scott Cherry for 182nd on the UNC list. 

Justin Jackson moved up 17 to 1752 passing Tyus Jones (briefly). He passed Michael Copeland, Donald Washington and Larry Davis into 196th at UNC. 

Isaiah Hicks moved up 8 to 1701 passing UVa’s Tom Hicks. Wake’s Henry Hicks is next on the Hicks list, 10 points away.

Theo Pinson moved up 54 to 2141. He moved up 7 on the UNC list to 234 passing Patrick Moody and Jesse Holley. 

Joel Berry moved up 54 to 2167 passing Clemson’s Connie to become the ACC’s highest-scoring Berry. (Maryland’s DJ Straw- and UVa’s Mike Eiken- are still ahead of him, however.) He also jumped 10 to 236 on the UNC list.

For Virginia Tech, Will Johnston passed Markus Sailes into 29th on the schools ACC list. 

Justin Bibbs passed Shawn Harris into 34th for VT. 

Ahmed Hill passed Ben Boggs into 40th at VT. 

Malik Muller passed Paul Debnam into 43rd for the Hokies.

Shane Henry passed Jeff King into 48th for the Hokies. 

At Clemson, Landry Nnoko tied Ames Wells for 134th on the school’s list. 

Rod Hall passed Josh McRoberts on the ACC list 

At Wake, Devin Thomas passed Ricardo Peral and three others into 69th on the school list. He also passed Shane Larkin on the ACC list, as did teammate Codi Miller-McIntyre.
