One of the prime July events viewed by college hoop coaches is the NIKE EYBL Finals at the Peach Jam in North Augusta (GA). As a general rule in recent years, NIKE-sponsored spring/summer teams have contained most of the top prep prospects from around the nation. This year, however, Adidas and (to a lesser extent) Under Armour have fared better than usual and have seriously challenged NIKE in attracting elite talent. Regardless, the Peach Jam continues to be NIKE’s premier showcase, as is indicated by the plethora (in the hundreds) of college coaches, including one or more coaches from every ACC school, who were in attendance.
