No matter what event you’re interested in — attending a concert, going to a game, taking in a play, whatever — a secondary market is a frequent starting place to find tickets. Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek, NBATickets. (For my League Pass junkies: “The Anderson’s got tickets to the game? How’d they get tickets to the game?”). These are well known websites, and if you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’ve used one or more of these services — or at least seen/heard their advertisements on television or podcasts.
Vivid Seats is another notable resale company that’s based in Chicago, Illinois, and aggregates a variety of sports tickets, including college football. They passed along some data to ACCSports.com regarding ticket prices on their secondary market for several of the top programs in America. Here’s the list; it’s worth a glance. Among full-time members of the ACC, Clemson has the highest median ticket price: $140, tied for ninth in the nation with Iowa. Their most in-demand home matchup is against in-state rival South Carolina; median prices are already at $276. These prices, obviously, are fluid, and subject to change.
