The grassroots basketball season got underway in April. Many of the nation’s premier prospects — several of whom ACC schools are targeting — play on the Nike travel circuit.
Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League made its first stop in Hampton during the live recruiting period. The event produced some interesting observations and takeaways while hundreds of coaches took in the action. Those included the emergence of a rising star who’s hearing from several ACC schools, some standout performances from a pair of future Tar Heels, an enormous statement by a key Duke target and much more.
