The 2020 college football seasons feels like an eternity from now — some mythical future date that floats around with vague optimism.
Regardless, that didn’t stop the folks at Caesars Entertainment from putting out projected wins numbers for a variety of conferences. To the surprise of literally no one, Clemson is slotted to be the best team in the conference. The Tigers wave goodbye to a lot of talent; however, Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne are back.
Once again, Miami looks good on paper; we’ll see what happens on the field.
Also of note: Vegas is incredibly bullish on Sam Howell and North Carolina. The same can’t be said for NC State, though.
Here’s a look at how they gamed out the ACC:
- Boston College: 5
- Clemson: 11.5
- Duke: 5.5
- Florida State: 7.5
- Georgia Tech: 3
- Louisville: 7.5
- Miami: 9
- NC State: 4.5
- North Carolina: 8.5
- Pittsburgh: 6.5
- Syracuse: 5.5
- Virginia: 6.5
- Virginia Tech: 8
- Wake Forest: 7
