ACC Football schedule for 2020 season is unveiled

The 2020 ACC football schedule is here. Last week, the conference officially announced it’s 10-plus-1 scheduling model for the 2020 season; this included 10 conference games, five at home and five on the road, plus one non-conference game.

If public health guidance allows, the schedule will begin Thursday, Sept. 10. If a full season is to be played, the 11 games will take place over the course of 13 weeks — with two open weeks for teams.

Division are gone for 2020, but Notre Dame is now here.

Non-conference opponents must meet certain qualifications, too. In terms of location, those games must take place in the home state of the ACC program. All out-of-conference opponents must also meet the medical protocol requirements put forth by the ACC.

As far as the title game goes, the 2020 ACC Football Championship Game will be played Dec. 12 or 19 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
