Once again, only three ACC teams land in this week’s AP Poll: No. 14 Virginia, No. 16 Virginia Tech and No. 20 Florida State.
Virginia, of course, lost for the first time in over a month on Saturday, falling to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. A similar circumstance befell Florida State over the weekend, too. Led by Jose Alvarado, Georgia Tech defended its home floor with a 76-65 win over FSU.
Three other ACC teams received votes but didn’t land in the poll: North Carolina, Georgia Tech and Louisville.
POLL ALERT: Gonzaga, Baylor top latest AP Top 25, Houston climbs to No. 5 and Oklahoma and Ohio State jump into the top 10; Drake joins poll at No. 25.
