Jamison’s biggest regret is not winning a national title at UNC

Former North Carolina star Antawn Jamison recently dropped by The David Glenn Show to discuss his thoughts on this year’s Tar Heel team, his relation with Vince Carter and memories of the ACC Tournament. During the conversation, he shared his biggest regret.

“There’s only one thing that if I could go back in life and do over, it would be that junior year at North Carolina with the talent that we had and to come up short,” the former NBA standout said.

Carolina was a No. 1 seed in the 1998 NCAA Tournament but was defeated by Utah in the Final Four.

Jamison, who was the Naismith College Player of the Year in 1998, also talked about a current Tar Heel who has shined this season.

“With Brice Johnson, what more can you say? He kind of reminded me of the year I had and the year that Tyler Hansbrough had his last year at Carolina as well.”
