Valparaiso transfer picks Clemson

Just weeks after visiting Clemson, former Valparaiso forward David Skara will transfer into the Tigers program, according to multiple reports.

A 6-8, 205-pound power forward, Skara arrived at Valparaiso as part of then-coach Bryce Drew’s 2014 recruiting class. As a sophomore with the Crusaders this past season, he averaged 6.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game, making 13 starts in 29 appearances.

Per NCAA transfer rules, Skara will have to sit out the 2016-17 season. He’ll then have two years of eligibility remaining.
