According to multiple reports, Rick Pitino has confirmed that Louisville big man Chinanu Onuaku is keeping his name in the NBA Draft. Wednesday marks the deadline for underclassmen to withdraw their names from the draft.

As a sophomore with the Cardinals this past season, Onuaku averaged 9.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. He finished fourth in the ACC in blocked shots with 62 and was named to the All-ACC Defensive team.

Onuaku is projected by DraftExpress.com to be taken in the second round of next month’s draft with the No. 38 overall pick.
