Eagles find their QB for 2017

Boston College appears to have gotten its quarterback in the 2017 class, as Andover, Massachusetts, signal-caller E.J. Perry tweeted on April 24, “Excited to officially announce that I am going to play football at Boston College.”

Prior to receiving his offer from Boston College, Perry had offers from a variety of Ivy League schools, including Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth and Yale, as well as others from Ohio, UMass and many more. But after Eagles assistant coaches Scot Loeffler and Brian White got a chance to personally evaluate him recently at nearby Andover High School — leading to a scholarship offer personally delivered by head coach Steve Addazio — Perry made the decision that he wanted to play in the ACC.

Once Perry arrives in 2017, how soon could he see the field?
